U dont have to buy the expensive tests to get a early positive result such as ept,clearblue,first response..they usually work the same in most cases..I used the cheaper kind "Answer early result pregnancy test* it came in a pack of 2 so u can test a few days later to make sure the first test was accurate,i only payed 11.00 for both tests and got a big positive result 4 days before my period was supposed to come..If it says early result or test sooner on the package regardless of the brand name buy the cheapest kind because chances are its either better or is the same...good luck!

I would say first response would be the best hpt because it can detect pregnancy hormons 5 to 4 days before your missed period. Its very sensitive to pregnancy hormons, its a little bit more exspensive but is very good. Good luck!

I always always always bought the $4 ones at the dollar store. I would test a few days before I knew I would start my period. They have always giving me an accurate early reading. I it would come up positive I would think... no, it's just a cheap one, and go buy an expensive one just to get the same result!
If you are looking to spend more money though, the clear blue are GREAT because they have the ones that say "pregnant" or "not pregnant"... no guessing on if the line is too faint or not!

Check out www.twoweekwait.com They have women posting their symptoms while they wait to test and then they post the earliest test they take that is positive alone with the type of test. They also will post photos of their earliest tests. They have great recommendations for HPTs and have tested them all.
Another good site is www.peeonastick.com The gal there has tested all the brands and has recommendations.

In my experience.........by far the best....is the walmart brand called equate.............it is cheap and has never given me a false positive and always came up earlier in detecting hcg than any other brand................Dont waste your money on those expensive brands that say they test early...a waste.
Equate is the best. GOOD LUCK!
