The second answer had it mostly right, it is possible to get pregnant from sex at any time of the month, but the sperm must survive until ovulation. Ovulation can happen irregularly, but usually it does happen opposite your period. I'd talk to planned parenthood, the morning after pill seems a good idea, perhaps they could recommend some sort of medicinal douche or something? Two recommendations, 1. Talk to Planned Parenthood about it. 2. DON'T WAIT!!!!! Because I love children, I only want children who are wanted and loved.

You can never just have unprotected sex. You are able to get pregnant anytime. But, the most fertile time for your friend is around 14 days after her period. So she could be pregnant, or she could not be. You can even get pregnant on your period. So you can never really say I am safe I won't get pregnant. So if she doesn't want it ahve her get the morning after pill, just to be on the safe side.

Its very possible that she could be pregnant since the condom broke. She needs to wait and see if her period comes and if it does not, she should get a home pregnancy test.
