It's so frustrating. Of course the ideal situation would be to have a man to get up and do it for you.

Yes. I hate it when the batteries are dead. That is why I always look for batteries so that I can put it in my remote and then turn it on that way. Doing it manually reminds me when I was a kid and my Mom had me as her remote by making me do that all the time.

This is more of a man question. I have trouble with the batteries in my "woman" toys not a remote control lol. Unless you count the remote for my woman toy hehehehe :)
