now my question is will she be able to keep her unborn child when she has it. I was thinking that it is wrong for her to be able to keep it, since she has not worked with the court and followed there recommendations.

She knew and did 6 months for failure to protect. my neice came to me when she was 13 and told me, he was molesting all three kids, the youngest which is his 3 years. I notified cps and he admitted to it and they tried and convicted him the oldest is 19 now and the youngest is 10, my sister in law is on drugs and she has not satisfied the courts orders. My husband doesnt talk to her and he is a soldier in the army here with me and our family in germany. so. she is pregnant now. and i am wondering.

If she is on drugs while she is pregnant that should be enough to take the child away if it is born addicted. If not lets hope not doing what the court asked her to do will. Of course they might be to busy punishing adults for not wearing their seat-belt to find out what she is up to. I know she is your sister-in-law but I wish they would find a prison cell for her till she is past her child bearing years I think she deserves it for bringing four kids into what sounds like hell.

They will probably let her keep the baby until there is signs that she is abusing this child too. There was a case here in WA where a little boy was left with his parents after all 4 of his brothers and sisters were taken away. He bounced in between his parents and a foster family for a little while, but his parents finally ended up killing him. It was so sad.

Hopefully, some smart social worker will be aware of her pregnancy and will take the child away at birth. It is too bad that women like her can just keep on giving birth to children they don't want and don't take care of.

I admire you and your husband for your efforts with those children. It cannot be easy.

Depends on how recent or long ago her kids were taken away...has she had time to change? why were her kids taken? that's an important question...Just keep a realllllly good eye on her. When the kids born if you suspect anything...consult someone about it..

I think the courts might take this one away as well seeing how she seems to have had trouble in the past.
