If you are referring to the group of people (hippies, I suppose you would call them) than sure I can tell you my experience with a group of them years ago. It was 2 girls and a guy and they came to my house wanting to know the location of a nearby campground I ended up taking them there and they were actually some of the nicest people you could meet. Apparently there was a huge gathering of sorts there and people from all over was there. Too bad they don't come around anymore.

I find the "Rainbow Family" to be a "Family" of educated, enjoyable individuals. They have a head, eyes, nose, ears, arms, legs, hands, feet (I guess you get the picture), just like you and me, they are "People" and deserve the respect and love as do every other "Person" that walks this earth. We need to stop labeling to enable and just walk together as a "People".

My best friend Eric used to travel with them. He described them as very loving and laid back. Nothing seemed to get them down. He also said that to get food etc they would sell beads and whatever else they made to the locals. A lot of pot was smoked. He traveled with them for 7 months or so back in 1990.

Nope, never been a member of that cultish-commune. Try moving to Idaho, I think that's where they're located nowadays.
Besides, that's a hippie group, not an LGBT group.
