Well why do americans think we're inbred? We have 20% of the population of the US which is a hell of a lot, and we practically ALL have passports! We can make it out of our own county and we don't marry our cousins (well not often anyway)...
As for the drinking too much and being stupid. I don't know. It embarasses me. I have to agree though. You can spot other Brits from a mile away when abroad. We went to Prague last week - guess what nationality the large groups of lads was, who were wandering around swearing loudly and being drunk, in T-shirts in -2 degrees centigrade in the snow. Yup. They were ours. I'd rather not be British!

Kinda like why do people like you ask Silly questions?
Not all Brits drink, let alone drink too much!
And if as Brits we choose to spend our money drinking and then being happy and merry, leave us to it! Its our NHS that has to support us not you!
And before you say it, drinking is an expensive pass time so its mostly done by the employed, so they do pay tax which will go to the nhs (well some of it anyway).

Why are Americans so God Damn LOUD. Why do they eat soooo much junk food..... Well now I doubt all Americans are like that but that is what is publicised - just the same for Brits. Not all drink and act like idiots just a sad few and guess what - same senario. So try to be a bit more liberal

We drink so much to help us come to terms with the fact that the rest of the world would be helpless without us & we look the same to you because your compleatly MENTAL!!
Whats the matter are you trying to make your self feel better by insulting the nation that is responsable for inventing most of the things that you use on a daily basis & probably discovering & populating your backward country........... A## Hol@

Not all Brits I'm a tee total non smoker, but I know what you mean. I wish I knew. Getting stupid drunk seems to be the centre of youth culture in the UK. Sorry no answer but I shall watch to see if anyone comes up with one.

That's a stereotyping attitude you have... it's not good... you know maybe one or two of them Brits and apply it to all the Brits... it's really stupid to do that

Its a real shame you think that about us.
For your information i DO NOT drink, i DO NOT look like anyone else I know and i sometimes act a bit stupid :), but dont we all?
I cant stand the yob culture we have that over here in SOME areas. That why i live in London, its cultured and people like that arent welcome.

Cos its amazin!!!!!!!!!! does it actually bother you how much we drink??? If so then i suggest you take a couple of drinks with us british, it'll loosen you up a bit :)
and who said we were stupid mate? I think you'll find the majority of the worlds inventors were British :)
