Not for the tube journey - no! I don't think anything ever has you adequately prepared/armed for that each day - not in central London. A large umbrella and elbows are usually good enough to get you space but don't always work!!

For work reasons I do have a Noddy suit and respirator in the back of the car, but in Whitley Bay it is somewhat unnecessary. Probably got some loose rounds lying about too but that's just laziness in not handing them in

You know what? You could leave the house carrying an Uzi, a katana, and God Only Knows What Else. You could still have a stroke, get hit by a car, or be crushed beneath a falling tree.
Even when 'armed', people die. End of story.

yes fortunatly I still have both my arms and I find them quite adequate when I leave my home any time of the day

a great pair of lungs and accelerator
never found the brakes yet

poor sods ended up with a broken jaw
