wow i am surprised you didn't get more answers....

but my point of view is.. well.. i can understand why some people would want it... i mean if someone hurt someone i love... well... i can UNDERSTAND it... but i dont necessarily agree with it.

i see death as being peaceful.. a way to escape the horror that is our world... i think life in prison without freedom and living in your guilt it much more torture....

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. If you are going to have capital punishment. What is the goal of it? If it is to have equal justice for the crime. Then it should be done by light of day with all the news and magazines covering it. And one should be able to see it on the evening news. Not done in the middle of the night when everyone is sleeping, and behind closed doors like they are playing doctor with the 10 year old "nurse" from next door. And those who are actually doing the killing should not be hid like cowards. If what they are doing is in my name for my protection as a member of society. I want to see who is killing in my name when I didn't ask. the way it is done now is more like revenge under the guise of justice. Because the family of the victims are there but what of the rest of us?
