In the "petition" box, type a period at the beginning of the answer you want to display. The period will show up as a "P" in "Peter, please respond:" Then you proceed to type the answer while the program puts up the petition instead of displaying the answer you are typing. When you finish typing the answer, you type another period. Then you finish typing the petition. Make sure to end the petition with a colon. Then it takes you to the question box. Type in the question that is answered by what you typed in the petition box. Then end with a question mark. If that's clear as mud, instructions are in the source link I posted below.

okay, for all of you who dont know, it IS a trick and i'm fixing to tell you how to do it and freak all your friends out. First you have to put in a petition right? well instead of putting peter, please answer, just simply put a period in there. what happens? it puts a "P" right? okay...after you put a period in....you type in the answer you want peter to say. here's the thing, after you put in the period and you start typing the answer, it does not show what you are actually typing, instead it puts "Peter, please answer...". after you're done just hit the period again and finish typing the petition. then write the question to the answer and hit the "?". WOW! peter knows everything :)

heres the trick..
the spot that you have to type in "peter please answer the following question" you dont really type that exact thing. First you type in a period . . Then right after the period you type in the answer to the question that you are about to ask in the box below it. When you type the aswer to your question the words "peter please answer the following question appear...instaed of what you really typed. And rember the end of you sentences has to end with this :
When your done with your question in box # 2 you have to end it with a question mark for it to give you the answer you typed.
Hope this helped you!

I jsut found out about this website today.
what you do is press the period key 3 times. that enters the first 3 leter of Peter, please answer. (Pet) next you type the answer of the question. S, for example, if the question you were going to ask it was "What is My name" you would type your name, (Ex."Michael"). next you would press the space bar until it finishes "peter, please answer:"
you then would go about and type the question. make sure your question ends with a question mark...the link will appear in the bottom left that says "ask" or something like that...and it will give you you answer.

ok, here is how it works:
when you are typing the petition here is what you type:
Peter, please answer the following question
but instead type in . the answer . then carry on the thing as it is
eg.
.yes., the following question:
or
.anthea.lease answer the the following question:
and then type in the question.(the person that is watching the screen wont figure it out because the answer is invisible)
and let your friends be terrified =P

This is long, but just read it, kay?
Okay, did it generate computer-given answers?
Listen to my story:
My friend was telling us all about Peter at my older brother's birthday party thing.
We didn't believe it.
So, LAST NIGHT at another birthday, they tried it.
Mike, Shade, Trent, Warren, Adam, and Dalen were the boys in the room.
This is just one question they asked....
Mike (my brother), typed in: Any bad news?
Peter replied: Warren, don't go to school on Monday.
So, today, I didn't believe Mike.
He went there, typed in: What is my mom doing?
Peter: Washing dishes
She was.
He typed in: Who's next to me?
Peter: Karlee
PETER TYPED MY NAME.
How did he know that??
THEN, Mike put: Anything you want to tell us?
Peter: I'm right behind you.
Then, my other brother, Jimmy, came upstairs.
We told him about it.
We asked: What tattoo does my brother have on his stomach?
Peter: Dimesak
(That's what it says).
Jimmy then pointed at a place on this big world map we have and told Mike to ask Peter where he pointed.
Mike asked and Peter said: I don't know.
Then Jimmy said: Oh, it's Chicago.
Sooo...Mike typed: What city did Jimmy point at?
Peter: Chicago.
It does work.
It's very, very hard to believe unless you try it and believe.
And Peter doesn't answer unless you believe.
He only answered to my brothers.
When I asked him questions, he wouldn't give me a legit answer.
Then, Mike asked why Peter didn't like me.
Peter: I'm very sexist.
It sounds crazy, and I can understand skeptics.
But, try it if you dare.
It's scary as hell.
Annnd...it didn't work for them until Shade's mom came home.
And my mom was outside and it didn't work.
When she came in, it started again.
So, that's my very long story.
Ask me more if you want to know I guess.
