First of all, think of what kind of thing he is into. Try to incorporate that into the date. Do something that you know he loves, but maybe you don't like to do, that shows that you are really thinking about him and making sacrifices too. A cookie bouquet is also really fun if he likes cookies.

I think a good gift idea, depending how much you want to spend, is an electric razor. Its a really cool gift, and it might make him feel older =) Or a nice watch. For a date? Take him to a concert. Its the perfect date for me.

Really depends on the guy, but if you found out a particular video game he's been meaning to get, especially one with multiplayer, that'd be awesome. (that's just me though, this guy could be completely different, but definitely pick something creative that reflects his interests [not a gift card though]) Or take him out to his favorite restaurant. Sorry guys usually aren't as easy to buy for (candy, flowers, jewelry, plushies, etc.), but if he's your boyfriend he's probably already freaking out over what to get you, so just saying you love it will probably be the best present he could get. On the other hand, if you two are kinda serious-ish, you could learn to give a simple backrub or body massage. If it's really serious, tasteful nude photos could be a definite win as well. ;)

Guys don't really want to much on Valentine's day. Maybe a card or big candy lips something cheesy like that. All they think about is how to get into girls pants. Yes that's the truth.
