Also how is the job market there in Atlanta with regards to working in Accounting or Administration. Is it easy to find a lease purchase home in Lithonia, or rental homes. Also how are the schools in the area.

Lithonia is a great area...perdomionly a black area...Its also a nice place to live, the crime in Lithonia is low....good luck!

You can look up thier site, I know Georgia has a really informative site. All I really know is that I live in Florida and everyone I know is moving to Atlanta becuase of the cheaper housing.

Yes it is a good area but me personally would suggest somewhere like Conyers, McDonough or Stockbridge. The job market is good as well.
