It's called "Danny's Song" and the original version was recorded by Anne Murray, but there has been a few remakes.

This is a nice song called "Danny's Song". I guess that means it is my song(yuck yuck). It was done by Kenny Loggins and Anne Murray made it famous, but I believe others have done it as well.
Try to find the Anne Murray version. It is probably your best bet.

That song is called "Danny's Song" and the popular version is recorded by Anne Murray, but it was actually written by Kenny Loggins, the same guy who did "House at Pooh Corner" and "Footloose." I think it's a beautiful song, and it always makes me think of my boyfriend, because we don't have any money either, but we've got love!!! : )
