When something bad happens (the holocaust, 9/11, e.t.c.), people tend to ask "Why did God allow this to happen? How could He? These people didn't do anything wrong." But the truth is God does not "allow" anything to happen. All God does is put people on earth and give them free will and hope that they will make the right decisions. If they choose to make bad decisions there is nothing God can do. He gave people free will and therefore has no control over what people do. People on earth have to choose to make the right decisions in order to achieve eternal life in heaven. Only then can God sanctify all the suffering that they have had to endure while on earth. And in heaven they will also be free of the oppressors who tormented them on earth. So when something bad happens it is not because God "allowed" it to happen. It is because some of the people he has placed on earth have simply chosen to abuse their free will.

I used to try to answer why God allows disaster to fall on people and people who consider to be innocent. I think it is right that we would let God answer for Himself why disasters strike.

In His power of omniscience, He knows everything and every life, He is in full control even though he has given free will to everything he created. So as far as loss in life and property is concerned, he would know it also.

But for the life that was lost, if that life is determined for heaven, that will be a gain for that life that was lost. For those destined to damnation, their end is already sealed whether they lose it now or later. If this happens this way, it is very sad for us human to swallow.

But let us ask Him when we meet him face to face. Of course in heaven but if we are condemned to hell, then there is nothing for us the lost life could do, we would not have the chance to meet God at all let alone questioning Him why we were killed in the disaster..

Really bad theology. And no corrections so far as to what free will involves.

So, nothing God can do, the Almighty has no control, we achieve our own eternal life.

What a weak God you serve. He may as well have "allowed" bad things to happen, he can't do anything about them anyway.

Get past this issue first, then you can talk about disasters.

Perhaps the human caused events are bad examples of bad things. How about things like the flooding in New Orleans, droughts, volcanoes and earthquakes?

The other side of the coin is perhaps we don't have free will or have limited free will, in which case your argument goes out the window.

o.k. reported. that is humorous - people prefer the liberty to do what they prefer to do, with out difficulty for result and with out wishing to be recommended that what they're doing is right or incorrect. they prefer to do what they please, with out interference from God or all of us else for that remember. yet while those comparable people face disaster or see undesirable issues take place to others, they ask your self why God stood via and watched. people would desire to make up their minds approximately God. Do they prefer Him to be in touch of their lives or no longer? in the event that they do no longer, then they actually should not be disillusioned if He does no longer something while undesirable issues take place to people. in the event that they do prefer God of their lives, then no remember if or no longer God does something to quit some thing undesirable from occurring, those comparable people will a minimum of have a peace that throughout basic terms God provides, that each thing would be all good interior the top and could by some ability paintings collectively for stable. we will not have it the two procedures. people tend to have this imaginative and prescient of God as being somebody who's the writer and Almighty Genie and that they get disillusioned while He would not tend to our each prefer. They forget approximately that God isn't a genie, yet truly GOD, and He would not would desire to do a element for us. Our very existence is as a results of the fact God chooses to furnish us existence. while He chooses to do some thing to help us, that's simply by fact this is for the final. I completely consider your final fact, of it is not that God "allowed" some thing to take place, yet simply by fact some people have chosen to abuse their loose will. Amen to that!!
