I still have about 7 days before my period is due but I honestly believe I am pregnant.It is too soon to get a postive hpt.But I was curious of how many of you have got a postive hpt early.

I started testing a week before my period was due. I got a REALLY faint positive 5 days before (so faint I wasn't even sure it was there), so I tested every morning for the next 3 days and the lines gradually got darker. I used first response, 3 pack.

I'm 4 weeks pregnant now but because I suspected my ovulation was early, I started checking early. On 10th day, I thought there was this very pale line but I was not sure so I waited some more. I made another test in the third week after supposed conception date and there was no mistake, the line was there and I had still a some days till the date of my period. After a couple of days I made another one, just to be sure - positive again. So I can testify that those tests are generally sensitive and accurate after the 14th day of conception.

With my first i had a period lasting 3 days which was abnormal for me, i took a test a week later, 3 weeks before my actual period was due and it came back positive.
With my 2nd i got a BFP a week before my period.
And with this lil baby I got a BFP 2 weeks before my period was due and that was done by my doctor who said i had only conceived about a week and half before the test.
Now i'm 23 weeks.
Take a test, if you even just a get a faint double line, it's positive.

I am exactly in the same boat as you. It's driving me insane.
With both of my children, I tested negative first around the day my period was due, but postive a couple of days later.

I took a early test that I bough on-line and got a positive result 8 days before my period was due, which was 6 days after ovulation/conception. The line was so faint you had to squint!!

I didn't. I *knew* I was pregnant, and taking the tests early (4 days and 2 days before my period, if I remember correctly) and getting negatives was heartbreaking. I didn't get a positive test until 3-4 days after my missed period. If you read the fine print on the box, only a small percentage of women actually get an accurate result that early, and I guess I just wasn't one of them!

I got an extremely faint positive on my hpt a couple days before my period was due....but I got a couple false negatives before that because it was just too soon.
Unfortunately, waiting is just part of it!

I did but i waited until 3 days before my period was do, i got a slight line, and then i tested the next morning and got a darker line...went to doc, im 1 month along!

i took at test 4 days before my period was due, it was a store brand too which i highly recommend first response, but anyways it was a very faint positive, so i took another one the next day it was positive again...its very possible just very faint

I dont really know how early mine was but I know it was before my period and then I never started my period.. Now im 14 weeks pregnant and counting.. Its soooo exciting..
