Why do you want to email her? Just because the media has made a big deal about her predicament and doesn't respect her privacy, she still has a right to privacy.
And if you are good intentioned and want to console her, that is probably beyond your ability, her family and friends will have to do that.

I think she is kinda busy being detained by the authorities....maybe once she is a full-time inmate she will need a penpal
