Never! Richard Simmons is a national treasure of freakdom and oddness. If he loses the candy-striped shorts and tank tops, there's no telling what could happen.

Seriously, though, I always thought what he did for people was nice; I think he helped people feel better about themselves, and if that's the goal and he can do it, well, he can keep his tank tops and short-shorts on for the rest of his life.

Of course not! If he feels good wearing those clothes at 59 then more power to him. He isn't afraid to be an individual who does what makes him happy. He has both physical and emotional health in my book.

He just wouldn't be Richard Simmons if he did.....as goofy as it looks......But he has helped a lot of people lose weight, so I really don't care what he wears.......

He should be able to wear whatever he wants. As long as all his pieces and parts are covered and he doesn't have a hairy chest, back or pits.
