The doctors say that the tests you get at the store are the same that they use. Wait a few days and try again. But you may be late due to stress or something else.

There is something called a "chemical pregnancy"; I had the same thing happen to me. I had a positive test, as well as a negitive; made a doctors appointment and it was negative, only days later... She explained to me that sometimes taking the test early can show positive, because there was a pregnancy, but somehow the pregnancy didn't take, therefore a period did come, and it was heavier. I guess they don't consider this a miscarriage as it is so early on. There is a possibility that you had a chemical pregnancy, and you will get period (heavier then normal) soon. I would definitely make an appointment With your doctor if your period doesn't come within a few days. Better to make sure that everything is "normal" then risk the possibility of a ectopic pregnancy (although rare, it can be dangerous) The tests you buy in the market can be expensive, and it may make you feel better to just get the results from a doctor. Good luck!

If you have had both of these tests and the docs are saying no, then the probability of you being pregnant is slim to nill, but not completely gone. It is possible, but not likely. There are lots of reasons all of this could be happening. Stress is a major factor and can include all of the symptoms you are describing. If you aren't on any type of birth control, you can pretty well count on your periods being irregular. It's a natural thing. You could also have either a tubal pregnancy or possibly ovarian cysts. I had cysts and had the same symptoms. Women get them all the time, just most women don't have any type of pain associated with them, but there are a select few that do. There could be any number of things going on here, but my best guess is that you are probably just stressing out about this matter a little too much. Take some deep breaths and calm down. Don't let this bother you too much. If you go another couple of weeks and still don't have a period, consult your physician again. However, if you are experiencing any acute pain, that is your body's way of telling you that something is wrong and you should seek medical attention. I hope for your sake it is just stress dear. Good Luck!

Never happened to me, but my best friend was 3 days late and she took 2 home pregnancy tests which both showed negative. 2 days later her GP did a test for her which came back positive. Maybe the hcg levels in your body are just too low to detect at the moment, give it a few days then test again, or visit your GP. Good luck!

yes this happened to me i took the first test a couple of days after my period was due it came up negative, a week later still no period so i tested again this time it came up positive, think it has to do with your hormone levels at the time of testing, the best time to test is your first wee in a morning as it has more hormones, good luck

I can....I had to wait until i was seven days late until my test showed positive, the ones I did before that were all negative, its all about whether our pregnancy hormone levels are high enough in early pregnancy to be detected. And remember if you dont get your period and test again, always use first morning urine...it has the highest levels of preg hormone in it. oh and goodluck x

Yes, that is possible and happened to me with the first baby. I had to wait another week for my bfp. However, it's also normal for a woman to skip a cycle entirely. If I were you, i'd test again in a few days and then go to the doc if you still have a negative.

No, I took two tests and they were both positive. But maybe your urine levels aren't strong enough yet. I think you probably are, do you feel any different in yourself, ie. like period cramps, sore boobs, tiredness, sore back etc.? I would give it another couple of days then try another one. I think First Response tests are very good. Good luck and hope you get what you want. x.

at this point if you are pregnant you are about 3 or 4weeks (depends on the first day of your last period) give it a week and test again. but home test kits are not 100 % so make an appointment with your gyn or clinic to get yourself checked out
