You should try the restaurant at the Santa Monica Airport called Typhoon, where you get a nce view of the planes landing. They have great catfish.

Have you been to the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica? There are all sorts of shops and restaurants, etc. There's a Barney's Beanery and a Yankee Doodle's there. Both have lots of typical American food (that kids would like), are reasonably priced, and fun. Both restaurants have bars, I believe, too. I haven't been down on the Santa Monica pier in a while, but certainly that's kid-friendly.

In Beverly Hills there is a Johnny Rocket's or Jacopo's Pizza (right off of Santa Monica Blvd.), both of which, again, have food kids will eat and are reasonably priced.

What about the Beverly Center? There's a California Pizza Kitchen and Grand Lux Cafe there. I go to both ALL of the time and there's no shortage of children!

Hope this helps! :-)
