I'm pregnant with #3 and I have a lot of abdominal pain, I know the baby is okay but it feels like she is constantly stretching. It's hard to sleep, any suggestions?

I have had 5 kids. I seems like the more times you are pregnant the more aches and pains you get. My solution for sleeping was lots and lots of pillows.

Good luck!! I know how it feels.

Oh heck yea!! With my 3rd pregnancy really got uncomfortable! However, you should know that by the time your 3rd baby arrives, you'll be a pro at being a mother to an infant and it won't be any harder than it was bringing your 2nd one home. # 3 was actually the easiest baby for me.......until #4. The pregnancys just get worse and worse, but the end result is a breeze!!!
I had worse back pain with #3 &# 4 and lots more braxton hicks contractions as well as round ligament pains. The 3rd trimester you'll feel like there's a bowling ball between your legs ready to the floor on some days.
My 3rd adn 4th labors were really fast and I knew what to worry about and what to dismiss. This ones going to be fun for you, so congrats on your # 3 baby!!!!!

With each pregnancy its gotten worse for me. I am pregnant with #4 and its been horrible. It was extremely bad with baby #3 also, and there is really nothing you can do about it. I am on bedrest with this baby , so I cant go out and walk or anything like that, so I just have to deal with it. Maybe you can ask your doctor about things you can do to relieve the pain, if your able to exercise.

My #3 was worse for pain than my other 2. I figured it was because #2 was a section but I know that you are more sensitive than with the others as you now what it all feels like now...

the delivery is way faster and better though! :)

I had lots of warm baths with lavendar in it. 7 drops of essential oil in a warm bath was great...very calming and takes some of the pain away.

Also enlisted my dh. He had to give me lots of massages...afterall...he participated...I am in pain... :)

Hope you feel better. Just remember, it is only 42 weeks at the most! :)

I have never heard of a comfortable pregnancy, especially in the later weeks. Sleeping sucks in the end, but just try using lots of pillows. I used one between my knees while lying on my side and had my husband prop some behind my back.

this pregnancy was terrably uncomfortable.. keep doing pregnancy exersises, and massaging your tummy really helps, rest alot (not easy with other children i know), and always lay on right side..
