You've got SpyWare. You should have an anti-spyware solution on your computer. I recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.
These are cleanup tools. Ad-aware cleans files, and SpyBot cleans the registry.
Good luck and Happy Computing!

Might/Might not, sorry no hard and fast rule here especially with viri and spyware. First get a good anti spyware tool, yahoo to quite a good one on there free tool bar download (you can always deactivate it later) second update your virus checker and do a full (all files folders etc scan) you want to scan absolutely everything. If this doesn't work uninstall the last few programs from the system. If this does not solve the problem do a full format of you hard- drive and start again. This last option works 99% of the time, only had once where the MBR (master boot record) was infected so I had to clean that and do it again.

Instead of reinstalling stuff you could do a system restore. Which basically sets your system back to a previous point before it started acting up. However, I would recommend you running antivirus and spyware software. There are some very good of both available on line for free. I recommend that you download and run at least two of the spyware programs because one might pick up an infection that the other missed.
download AVG Antivirus from:http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/ or a copy comes with ewido so you might just want to go to the ewido website and skip this one.
spyware from: http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

The option for system restore, if you are using windows XP or higher can be found by clicking on start>all programs/accessories/system tools/system restore

Should be but you would lose ALL your data, files, software, email passwords/usernames etc. You need to back all these up before and check you have all the discs for reloading software and installing your printers/modems etc. You also should check your files for viruses before you reinstall as they may be infected.
