I seem to remember hearing that when Michael Johson won the gold medal, and obliterated the record, he ran the 2nd 100 of the 200 in like 9.2 seconds. The commentators mentioned that that might have been the fastest any human has ever ran...it was like 27 mph, or like 40 kph! Please correct me if my math is off, but i seem to remember that....FAST!!

The fastest human footspeed on record is 27.79 mph (44.72 km/h), seen during a 100 metres sprint (average speed between the 60th and the 80th meter) by Usain Bolt.

You can find out. Find out the 100 meter Olympic world record ( wikipedia should have it ), see how many seconds, then you have 100 meters / x seconds ( or whatever it is...) and convert it to km / hour.
