Where should I take a Spanish woman on a first date in order to be successful?

You are into a predicament. Just take her somewhere nice, but if she is seriously into you, months will go by "in order to be successful". In order words, unless she is not playing Spanish, if she isn't hard to get, she doesn't think much of you.

My advice: ask a Scandinavian girl out.

Are you talking "successful" as in what a guy deems successful?
Or do you want an actual relationship and want to impress her?
If you want to impress her, take her to a place you think she will like. Treat her with respect. Open doors for her, make her feel like a lady. maybe even buy her some flowers. Don't get feely.
If you want a girl that will give you the other kind of success on a first date, I don't think you'll have to try too hard. But I would recommend you check into the local VD clinic about a week later, just to be sure.

Is she Spanish as in from Spain? I ask that because a lot of people tend to lump Spanish speakers together simply as "Spanish".

If she is from Spain, keep in mind she has a lot more in common with a Western European, or even an American, than someone from, say, Mexico or Colombia (girls from Central/South America are usually much, much more traditionally-minded than girls from Spain).

I would just treat her like you would treat a girl from your country. I don't know where you're from, but I'm assuming you're from the West, and Latin culture is basically Western, so the differences shouldn't be great.

And if you follow the suggestion of some of the idiots who responded by taking her to Taco Bell, get ready to be told off (at best).

I'm going to take the unpopular position here and say that to an extent this is a natural reaction. I'm not saying it's good, just natural. A certain amount of possessiveness is to be expected considering that the fight for mates is a zero sum game. At the end of the day, in group breeding is the only thing that keeps an ethnicity distinct. That said, it is my observation that those who actually feel strongly enough about it to be saying things like you listed are simply low mate-value people trying to increase their standing by using shame to reduce the pool of possible mates for those they desire. For example the American woman shaming men for going after Asian women is really simply terrified that she stacks up poorly against Asian women. As shaming men is easier than improving herself and what she offers, that's what she does. Being of mixed white and black ancestry I really have absolutely no feelings on the matter, but like I said I can understand some amount of distaste, extreme opinions though are in my opinion a guise for insecurity a suspicion of ones own low mate value.

The place you would like to take any one that your with and first time meeting is at a neutral place where both of you will feel comfortable. Like the movies to a restaurant to where there are different choices on the menu to order. Just be your self and stay relaxed everything will work out. Do, be someone your not and then later on it will come out and that she might not enjoy. So, be yourself.
