At 25? I always carry an Adidas backpack. I cannot stand purses! But I think maybe it's time for me to put the backpack away. Especially since I'm planning on starting a new career soon.

Well...there are different types of backpacks for older people. You should get a stylish, black one. If you are looking to start a new career, get rid of that school girl pack. You can find LOT'S of great backpacks for older people that ARE really stylish.

This is really cute. i am not saying you have to go out and buy a prada backpack to be fashionable, i am just saying something like this is in and pretty. You should get leather and one with bigger straps! GOOD LUCK! Oh and black in ALWAYS in and goes with alot of outfits.

It really depends on your career! But no matter what your career is, you can always do what you want on your own time. Also, it depends on where you work. Even if you work in a very polished place, if you come and go without anyone really seeing you, you can bring your backpack. Just make sure you have a stylish messenger bag or something else you can take out for lunch or an off-site meeting. Title 9 has some good compromise bags as well, for women who want a more grown-up style but don't want to carry a purse.

If you're starting a new career, I definitely think it's time to put away your backpack...along with your old casual wardrobe.
There are a variety of bags & purses out there, I have no doubt you'll find something suitable!
Don't worry...it's going to be really fun becoming a classy woman!

Find a nice leather bag with larger straps that you can put on your one shoulder.
It is a little adolestent to still be carrying a backpack everyday at 25. There are a lot of nice bags out there.

Personally I think women with backpacks don't seem professional. Backpacks are cute for students, even if you're 40 yrs old student. However that depends of what kind of job you are doing. I was a slave for the corporate world and it's kind of necessity.

well it depends if you're the sporty tipe. i use to wear backpacks but now i've moved to the over-the-shoulder-and-chest bag. you know, the ones that u just sling across your chest. it's big enough for all your things, very comfy and you don't have to cling on to a small handbag/purse every time you move. and you can make your bag look nice with some bling or logo's or something like that. maybe a funky colour or some secquins!!
