No, both of my children kept thier heads down. They both sat very low and gave me tons of back problems. My son was pretty much in the birthing position the whole time. That really don't mean much since they can move around anyway. It's just good if they stay that way so that the baby isn't breach.

NO, that doesnt really mean you will have the baby early. Are you dialated at all? I know with my personal experience, when i was 28 weeks i had become 3 cm dialated and was in the hospital for a week b/c the docs thought i was in pre-term labor, and then i wound up giving birth when i was 34 wks and 3 days. i am not trying to scare you i am trying to make a point. It all depends on if you are dialated or not b/c with my second son, he was head down as well ( along with my first) and i didn't dialate and had him the day before my due date. so my point is if you are not dialated then you have no worries. i hope i didn't scare you, i hope i helped.

Nope...all of my babies were head down and ready by 32 weeks and the earliest I had any of them was 38 weeks....the other two were born one two days before due date and the other on her due date.

You could, but, I think this is normal! It is getting in the position! If this is your first, you will probably go to due date a could even after due date by a few days!!!!!!! If it is your second, then I'd say you could go earlier!!!! But it is normal for head down!!!!

No all babies should move into this position about a month or two before their due date.

Heavens no! It just means that your little kiddo is doing his/her job by headin' on down south. It's perfectly healthy and right on time! Good job and good luck!
