Yes, it is normal when you are breastfeeding.

I think you need to go to your doctor. I started my period about a month after and I was breastfeeding, but it wasn't what it normally was. I decided not to worry about it until after a year when I decided to stop breast feeding. come to find out I had hypothyroidism, which was messing up my periods big time. I was even skipping some. I wouldn't have been able to do anything about it when it started anyways because of feeding my daughter, but the problem is getting corrected now.

I would take a look at the symptoms and see if they match what you are feeling and going through

It's normal, if it lasts more than 2 more months though, definetely go to the doctor to have it checked out but some mothers don't get their period again for up to 6 months because of all of the hormone changes. Be grateful... I bled for 45 days after I had my daughter, it was horrible but it's completely normal for stuff like that to happen. Good Luck and congrats on your new baby!

Each woman is different. If you are not breastfeeding, you generally will start menstruating six to eight weeks postpartum.
Usually, the first period after your baby’s birth will have a heavier flow and last longer than usual. Menstrual periods may not be regular for several months. But, like I said, each woman is different. If you have any worries, then please discuss with your doctor. CONGRATS on your new bundle of joy!

some bodies are different, I didn't start until about 2 months with my first, but with my second i started right away. Your body is probably like confused on what it went through, and it's just taking it's time to get back on schedule. If that doesn't help I would just call a doctor. Good luck with your new baby

I started about 4 wks after my son was born. I would call the doctor and see what he says. If anything he could call you out some provera to start your cycle and possibly put you on the pill for couple of months to regulate it again. Good luck.

It is normal, just double check with your doctor that you are okay. My daughter was born in January, and I did not get a period until April

It is normal. Everyone is different.
Remember you can still get pregnant, because you don't know when you're ovulating. Enjoy the break!
