Funny you asked that. Many ears ago, my grandpa used to make skin care products for my grandma using lemmon juice as an astingent and petroleum jelly to soften her skin. My grandma died at 101 and people always marveled at her beautiful wrinkle-free skin!

I have been using Lemon juice for years for various things on my face and I have sensitive skin and never had a problem. Use only the juice of real lemons not the bottled kind you find at the stores.

Lemon juice can tingle your skin but it's tolerable. The best is:-
1.-Make some refreshing lemonade using half a lemon.
2.-Then take the half of the lemon and turn it inside out.
3.-Rub it gently all over your skin except the eye area and keep on rubbing it GENTLY for like 15 minutes.
4.-Wait for another 15 minutes.
5.-Wash it off with fresh water(neither hot nor cold).
6.-Do this only in summers and if you have oily skin.
BEST OF LUCK

It acts as an astringent (shrinks pores, dries oiliness). If that's what your skin needs, it's a good natural ingredient to use. If your skin is dry already, though, you don't want to use lemon juice on it. It also may have a slight bleaching effect if used frequently.

hey dear! gud question! wel, lemon juice does not realy affect your face skin. only thing that happens is a little burning sensation of skin when u apply lemon juice. It not only cleans ur skin but also helps in removing black and white heads!!

Depends on the quantity.
A little lemon juice aplied before bed can help get rid of dead skin cells, and open blocked pores.
But do it before bed, because it can make your skin a bit red.
