These sites should get you started. I picked the Anasazi people to highlight the nomadic peoples, because the pottery of different regions is often found in Anasazi ruins. (Those that haven't been decimated by potshard hunters, that is.)

Sometimes as historians, it is the LACK of evidence that teaches us something. We KNOW that the early American inhabitants were nomadic since there were NO permanent structures when Europeans first arrived in the late 15th century. No buildings, no permanent homes, no government buildings, no large and expansive farming systems like the Incas, Mayas, and Aztecs had. Therefore ANY website that talks about Indian dwellings will provide you your proof.
