This is a sincere question folks. Please take the time to read more about it. It could have an enormous positive impact on the LBGT community. There are books and SAs about this. Larry Kramer has spoke about this issue and claims to have proof which he will not release until his book "The American People" comes out which he has been working on for many many years.

From what I've read, he wasn't very gay. I'd describe him more as "melancholy," although he did have a sense of humor.
Honestly, gay or straight, what difference does it make? He's DEAD!

I don't think anyone can really answer that since none of us were there. That said, I do believe there were some letters he wrote that would one to believe he was.

you know what , i think he was more bi-sexual than gay, he was married had kids and had a relationship with a man only when his wife was not around.
