I need help. I am technologically challenged, so please try to answer in english. I just bought the computer (emachine.) It has windows vista. It will not let me install the printer (HP Photosmart C3180 All-in-one) At one point I did have it hooked up and printing, but it wouldn't scan. What do I do?

If it's not a compatabilty issue, you may need to disable any antivirus software you have runnning, install the printer, then turn the anti virus back on.

un plug the printer and unistall the printer(you can do that by going to your start menu and printers and faxers). then install the software and then plug the printer back in when it tells you to. it is just something with the hp software.

Got HP website for technical support. They know more about it, because they are the one who built and developed the said printer.
