what is the next size up after 00 ??

I believe they actually start measuring by millimeteres and inches (depending on where you are). Check out this chart:

7/16 comes after.
make sure you follow the sizes in order other wise your ears will blow out. i went from 00 to 5/8 and it was horrible. dont do that.
7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8.
