You would have to make sure that all documents have the same name on them. In other words, if you book a flight, make sure that it is in the same name that is shown on your passport. And then, make sure that you haven't changed your driver's license, so that it will also show the same name.
If there are any differences in names on any of the documents, you'll be screwed. Everything has to be the same.

I'm in the same situation as you. I got married 2 years ago, but have still not got around to changing my passport (but it still has 7 years left on it).
I have never had any problems so don't worry you will be fine, as long as you make sure all your travel documents eg tickets are also in your maiden name, as they have to match your passport.
For the cost of a new passport (minimum £66) you may as well just keep it and change it when it is due to expire.
You will not have any problems as don't forget all the women who now keep their maiden name...
But have a great holiday and don't worry you'll be ok.

I still have all my 'official' papers in my maiden name - my passport, my driving license, my bank accounts and credit cards etc. You just have to remember that your documents need to match up to your passport - tickets and passport - and driving license if you are going to drive. Basically you need all in one name or all in the other. If you think you might have problems you could carry around a copy of your wedding certificate that will show both names...

You don't need a passport to book a holiday. You have to book it in the same name that appears in your passport, you can of course get a new passport after booking if you book in your married name.

You can still use your existing passport, yes.
If your name on the ticket is your married name, and your passport is youtr old name, you can still get through by showing your marraige sertificate as well.
I would book tickets with your maiden name, its the simplest.

Save yourself £66 which is what a new passport costs these days. Travel with your old one!

I would have thought that you would be ok as long as all the names match up as it is not a legal obligation for you to take your husbands name. Lots of women don't and continue to use their maiden name for life.
