First of all, a 15 gallon tank is way way too small for Oscars, never mind adding Pacus to the mix ............. you cannot even keep one Oscar in a fifteen gallon tank. Oscars can get to be 12 to 14 inches long ............... I know they are real cute as juveniles and almost irresistable but they grow up into giants .............. You can keep a nice grouping of Dwarf Cichlids in a 15, but if you really want to keep Oscars you really need to get a much larger tank .......... I would not keep a ingle Oscar in anything smaller than a 50 gallon tank.
You can put crayfish in with your Oscars at that point but they need to be too big to fit in the Oscars mouth or the Oscar will eat them.

Your oscars are small now, but they will not stay that way for long. Your oscars when they get big, will actually eat your crayfish so be careful. 15 gallons is really not enough for two or more oscars let alone adding a crayfish and a pacus. You will be out growing the very soon.
While the fish are still small, the crayfish will be fine.

Who sold you that combination? WalMart???
That's like putting a plastic bag over a person's head with a pipe down to their butthole and funneling in rats every once and a while. None of those fish are going to be happy or healthy for long in that size tank. That's not an even remotely sustainable setup. After 2-3 months everything will get sick if they haven't killed each other by then.
Sell the fish back to a local fish store & get some smaller fish, or get a 120 gallon tank for them. They may be small now, but the oscar is going to grow like 1/2 to 1 inch every month.
The crayfish can kill the oscar as a baby. When the oscar matures in a month or two, it will kill the crayfish.... maybe even eat it. Adult oscars can crush crayfish bodies so hard that the legs go flying off.

Um, oscars get huge, and can only stay in a 15 gallon for a very short time. Pacus are giant fish reaching over 3' in length and are known as "tank busters" if they get scared they swim fast...right into the tank and can actually shatter the glass. Not a 15 gallon kind of fish...the crayfish could be kept in the 15 gallon alone...

You can put a dog in with them at this point and it won't be any worse.
Oscars eat crayfrish, but your Oscars will die long before they're big enough to do that in this little tank.
Research your fish before buying them and it will save you the hassle of redoing the tank. At this point I'm sure you will take back the fish since you have realized the error of your ways, and will re-plan the tank based on small, suitable fish. If you do like the crayfish you must stick to fish that use the upper parts of the aquarium, bottom feeders are pretty much out.

No I have a crayfish that is my 55 gallon tank with three Oscars and they do get along fine. Do you have anything in the tank where the crayfish can hide such as a boat or a large shell? My crayfish just hangs out in his boat and comes out every once in awhile but the Oscars don't bother him.

does no longer paintings, the 5" isn't related to the three", so as that they are of course coming from 2 tanks. Oscars are territorial, they'd desire to enhance up collectively or the main important one will kill the smaller. you may desire to no longer placed them in a hundred twenty five gallon with that length distinction. they're truly messy fish, the 5" would be 7-8" in 2-3 months and the three" would be 5-6". that is probably 14" of Oscar in 15 gallon - no risk! Edit: I in basic terms save Oscars, yet I doubt the mass distinction is purely 8 situations better, my adults would desire to weigh around a million.5lb. You have been being beneficiant Ian :o)

No, none of the animals you mentioned will survive for long in a 15 gallon tank.
Oscars can grow to 12" long and need at least 60 gallons per adult fish.
Your pacus will grow as long as 36" - they need at least 600 gallons per fish.
I suggest you turn the oscars and pacus to the petstore unless you're willing to convert your living room into a fishtank - because they won't live long in a 15 gallon tank.

why do people even buy pacus! The chicago Shedd aquarium has 3 foot by 3 foot pacus! you would need a tank that size to house them when they grow that big. anywayz, your tank is too small and I would NOT add a crayfish.

Either the crayfish will eat the small fish or the fish will eat the crayfish so I would not keep them together. The pacus are vegetarian so they will not touch the crayfish normally.
The crayfish will be very vunerable just after it has shed its skin.
This tank is too small for either of these two types of fish.
