Yes, yes, Bambi is great and I cried when I saw it. But Bambi is make-believe. This is one of my favorite lines of poetry; it comes from Sara Teasdale:

Children's faces looking up, holding wonder like a cup.

Young children who haven't been stained and hardened by the world yet, so innocent. Read a good book or tell a story to a group of children seated on the floor. You'll see this and never be the same.

The epitome of innocence would have to be something like...a newborn baby.

Yes, I agree with the new born baby answers. I don't know if you've notice this, but very early, babies learn that crying gets a response, and that's why they cry whenever they want to be held. Then, I believe they are not that innocent anymore.

It would be a "Baptized" new born baby...since we are all born with the Original sin on our souls, the condition of sin that marks all humans as a result of Adam and Eve's first act of disobedience when they ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden.
Once Baptized, the soul is cleansed of the sin and is purified.

Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones. He just hasn't tasted the fruits of life. Poor baby. He weighs 150 pounds and his liver weights forty. I think he lost his innocence in pre school.

The moment something is born, human or otherwise. After that moment, innocence is lost, as knowledge begins.
