It'll be a shame if they don't resign him...or it'll be because he doesn't want to stay. I hope that they keep him. From one Lakers fan to another!:)

I am sure they will resign Luke Walton, the guy is only making 1.2 mill and the lakers can keep him at a bargain. Luke is a native Californian so I am sure part of his decision about free agency is to be around sun and surf. The lakers understand that Walton is one of the best role players for the price in the league. I spoke to Elden Campbell and I heard John Salley say that the Lakers take care of there players even when they trade them they usually get them deals were the players make more money.

I think they will resign him. He understands the triangle really well and that's exactly what Phil wants.

He can spot up shoot a 3, play decent defense, but his main thing is his ability to distribute the ball.

So yeah he'll resign, probably 5 million a year sounds about right.
