Well, British Gas say with their new pricing structure announced today we will all be better off per year by £170.00.

Isnt that great news for us all!......... Or is it ?

If you are on the fixed tarrif does this mean we get a discount?

Have they lost so many customers on Gas and Electricity
that they had to do something before they had no customers left.

Then there is the system they offer called the "Helpline". ( have you tried it )They would not have to improve it because without any Customers they would not have any business left.

So well done British Gas for recognising that they were losing customers all over the show, its only taken them seven years to figure that one out.

And what about the British Gas service contract
Oh ...enough......It sounds like Im going on about them , Bless!

So before the supporters of British Gas come forward to shoot me down, I know they have Good Points.. Its just that I cannot think of any at the time of writing.

Brittish gas smells the same as american gas, only with a slight accent in the fart.

Well... if you are a fixed tariff (except fix and fall) you have been paying less than the variable rate for months or even years, and it will still be cheaper, so you are already getting a discount.

If you are on fix and fall, there is no cancellation fee so you can come off it anyway.

They are still the biggest gas and electricity company in the UK, supplying 10 million households, so I don't think they are in any danger of running out of customers just yet, although they can't be happy about the number of losses.

However as to whether this will be enough to stop losses... it may slow them, but to reverse the trend they need to sort out their abysmal customer service first.

I'd better have a look into that. I'm not one for changing just for the sake of it but I have been considering joining the band of lost customers, after a disagreement with them recently.
