its not hard to learn. just takes a little practice and someone willing to let you use their car to learn. often the japanese vehicles are the easiest to learn on or smaller cars/trucks.

Yes. The training method was to park a 1955 black ford pick-up on steep public roadway at curb of vacant city residential block,
turn front wheels inward toward adjacent sidewalk, and set the emergency brake. The engine was nicely warmed up. All I had to do was slide over to the driver seat, occupy an empty cab,
depress clutch, turn ignition key, roll window down to look behind me, hand signal, put both hands on wheel, feed motor with fuel past idle, turn steering, depress brake pedal, release parking brake, ease foot off the ... (screams of horror as engine died and truck rolled backward). Repeat these steps until truck tailgate nears the end of block or you've pulled ahead one block to park curbside. Hands-on truck use started at 16 years of age. I have had years of driving with automatic gearing but yet can seamlessly assume control of any stick vehicle instantly. Some training is etched on the core of your inner being, friends. Just like bayonet field drill. You find the motivation.

Yea, It's not too hard.
Just push the clutch in, put it in gear. Then slowly let out the clutch, and press the gas at the same time. Then when the RPM's get high enough, take your foot off the gas, push the clutch, change gears, and let out the clutch.
None of it is too hard. The hardest part is getting started, especially on a hill. If you are on a hill you can "Slip" the clutch out until it catches, then take your foot off the break, and press the gas. It just takes a bit of practice.
