My son has the Hippo and we didn't really have a hard time finding him. The lil kinz hippo I haven't seen. The reason you haven't seen the lil kinz googles is because, there isn't any. They haven't made them. The reason you may be having a difficult time finding them is probably because the stores that you're going to haven't ordered them, they could be on backorder or they have sold out very quickly. Try calling the stores in your area to see if they have what you're looking for before you spend the $$ in gas. Good luck!

The Webkinz Hippo is pretty easy to find online for about $10, same with the Google. However, the Lil Kinz hippo, st. bernard, black bear and bassett hound are really hard to find, especially for a reasonable price. I think this is because Ganz only makes so many of them and ships them to stores, and when they sell out, they don't seem to restock. They just make new Webkinz and Lil Kinz, and many times the older ones just become rare. Also, 2 Webkinz have already retired, so when others are starting to become hard to get, they may be about to retire.
If you really want a rare one, your best bet is ebay. But be prepared to pay a ridiculous amount!

Some like Cheeky cat & cheeky dog are retired.
Some like Love Puppy & Sherbet Bunny are limited edition so they will probably be hard to find after this spring.
My understanding is that the lil'hippo was made but not really released? It sounded like maybe they never shipped them (although I don't know where they would be if they haven't ever been shipped!).
I don't think googles are hard to find. There's a store a few blocks from me and they have tons of googles. Maybe your store just doesn't stock them?
