My boss was like that. Now he's not! I slapped it out of him and now every employee at my company has me to be grateful to.
The first option is to burst into tears every time he speaks to you. Not only will this make him feel guilty, but it will highlight to all of your colleagues that he is a pompous git
The second option is to yell at him - like when he yells at you, yell back. Now, he is your boss, and I can understand that you may not feel comfortable doing this. But this is what I did because at the time, I really didn't care whether I lost my job or not. His mouth fell open in surprise but he didn't yell back and I didn't get into trouble. Later that day we had a talk about the fact that he is a control freak.
He has now come to realise the error of his ways and is trying really hard to be much nicer to everyone. In fact, the last time he was rude to his PA, he even apologised afterward.
He is still not perfect 100% of the time because to some extent, it is just in his nature to be like that so I don't think he ever will get over it completely. But he is definitely trying.

I have learnt to control my mind when my boss talks to me - I have a fixed expression on my face and I just imagine how many 5ps i can fit into the nearest object. I let her bang on for a few hours and then walk away and do what ever I think should be done and just get on with it . No one complains , the boss thinks she is doing her job, I get paid - problem solved

My boss is also - a real cow. She treats me like a kid. I have a teenage daughter and a husband. Boss didn't come in today due to snow. I had hoped she had wrapped her car around a tree (and survived of course).

Umm..... properly, parenting like that may no longer unavoidably the characteristic of a conservative; my mum and dad have been painstakingly liberal and that i had an 8-o'clock bedtime and save my room clean. that's merely mum and dad attempting to coach their young infants accountability so as that they do no longer grow to be slobs whilst they flow out and stay to tell the story their own. I see the place you're coming from with the "administration freaks" argument, nonetheless. almost all of conservatives are stable Christian believers, and whilst i do no longer defer the prepare itself, I DO defer a number of its followers that think of they have the wonderful to push their techniques off on each and every physique else and attempt to tell them they could stay a definite way because of the fact the Bible says so. awaken and scent the coffee; no longer each and every physique PRACTICES Christianity. How might those human beings experience if a team of Buddhists got here to this united states of america and tried to get each and every physique to coach Buddhist techniques? i've got continually mentioned that liberals uphold the form; conservatives uphold the Commandments. all of us be attentive to how a number of them could be; they have not got self assurance in gay marriage and abortion and professional-selection ideals, so as that they do no longer think of all people could have self assurance in those ideals. that's why i do no longer think of we could continually have a conservative in political place of work; they attempt to stress their own ideals off on each and every physique else. *awaits the flaming of indignant readers*

First of all look at the fact that he is your boss, then ask yourself this question. Is his controlling have to do with my job or with my daily living outside my job? If it is outside your job you have two options you could look into getting another job or you could nicely talk to him about it and let him know that what goes on in your life outside your job is none of his business and ask him nicely to stay out of it. If it pertains to your job, then really he has a right to control you in that area ,only if it's pertainning to your duties.
