Wow, I hope you can get him out.
When you do, give him a steak.
I was eight months pregnant, and my german shepherd was a previous police dog.
She was trained beyond any normal dog; so,
although she was on a leash, she liked to carry the end of the leash herself. She was very disiplined, and would stay by my side, and never would do anything unless someone provoked me. A cop approached me, saying that the dog must be on a leash. I told him "she is on a leash", and began to tell him that she's an x-police dog, but the cop started to come towards me and took out that club they carry.
I warned him not to do that, because he was telling the dog that I'm being put in danger, and if the dog attacked, that it would be his own fault. He didn't stop, and refused to put the club down by his side, he was waving it up into the air as if he would strike me or my dog with it. Well, he was attacked by my dog.
I took the whole thing to court, and ended up with my dog staying alive, but i did get a $35. fine because the dog wasn't on a leash. I should have appealed, because technically she was on the leash! But i didn't, because i was so relieved that they weren't gonna kill her.
Some cops deserved to get attacked. That one sure did, and I hope his scars will have taught him a lesson.

Man you'r so lucky your dog wasn't shot ! Was it a PitBull ? or just a really well trained, obedient little thing ? Does it have ESP or something and if so did you ask the dog to attack ? I suppose you'll be locked up for aiding and abetting the dog !

Yes. If the policeman bit your dog he would be sent to a mental hospital (he won't be responsible).

The regulation is amazingly woolly about the topic of risky canines. The word used is out of proprietor administration. this suggests a delightful canines going to greet a stranger with a wagging tail should be euthanized. allthough it really is severe. there is not any grantee what's going to take position

Dogs are usually eager to learn, and the key to success is good communication. Your dog needs to understand how you’d like her to behave and why it’s in her best interest to comply with your wishes.
