this is how far i have gotten........right click on My Computer and go to Properties...then go to the Hardware tab...then device manager. Go to "display adapters" and find your video.........but i cant seem to find "display adapters" so i can find my video card.

could it be under something other than display adapters?

using xp reason for this is smooth scrolling is not very smooth i have a question over in computers and internet with more detail

Go to your video card manufacturers website and download the latest video driver that they have for your model. They usually have instructions as to exactly how to use the driver update wizard. It's the easiest way to go.

What op system are you using? I use WinXP and it lists my graphics card under display adapters, but earlier versions may call it something else. Do you see any category that might list a graphics card, such as "video" or "graphics" or anything similar?

If not, go to control panel and check the Add Hardware section. See if anything shows up when you let the computer search for installed hardware. If this doesn't help, let us know.

an much less complicated thank you to do it rather is bypass into controle pannel then device, then hardware tab elect your video card then homes then bypass to re-deploy drivers it is going to then ask in case you elect to have an internet examine elect definite this time purely . It then could discover the drivers on line wish this helps mate.
