Yesterday the serpentine belt on our suzuki esteem wagon broke, what's the best way to put the new one on? Does the motor mount have to come off? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have never seen a vehicle where it was required to remove an engine mount to change a serpentine belt. There is normally a diagram of the belt routing right on top of the radiator shroud. Put the belt in place as much as possible, then pivot the tensioner out of the way. Not too tough, especially after you do it the first time.

if the motor mount is in the way then probably yes. I have seen a few cars where the motor mount does half to be taken off. I have done some of them my self.
