i am 9 weeks preg and i have terrible morning sickness. i went to the ob-gyn yesterday and they said everything was fine.

THE STORY (a bit gross im afraid):
last night i was threw up dinner completely, continued to dry heave for a few minutes, then some like almost red/plum colored blood came up? it had to be from my body because i havent eaten or drink anything remotely that color in days. and it tasted like blood and bile. i really dont want to go to the er but i would go if it happens again? does this ever happen? is there someone i can call?

UH UN-NATURAL! Have you been under a lot of stress lately? Because it may be an ulcer. But your right technically nothing is wrong with the baby considering what you spit up came from your stomach which is in no way connected to your fetus. But I would recommend that if it happens again to go to the doctor. Because pregnancy is one of those critical times where you have to be aware of anything and everything your body is doing. Because so many things can go wrong. (Not to scare you or anything but medically speaking there is a lot) But as long as you do what your doctor says everything should be good.

that happened to me a few times early morning when i hadnt had any thing in my system but bile to throw up. its gross and taste very bitter. I was worried too. my dr said it was because nothing was in my system so i was dry heaving and bile was coming up. Just make sure you tell your dr and if it is solid blood not mixed with bile go to ER ASAP,

You should call your doctor and speak to a nurse on call. Most likely, the vomiting and dry heaves tore your esophogus, leading to the blood. Relax as best you can.

It was probably just from dry heaving, but just call the doctor to make sure, It is better to be safe than sorry, I know in Canada there is a number you can call to ask questions it is called telehealth, but i don't have the number on me and I don't know if you are in Canada.

Chilled mostly in the morning A stalk of Celery, a Sprinkle of Pepper A "Hit" that comes without warning. I think her name was Mary Not so pleasant in fact actually kinda scary. I drank it down as fast as I could then felt the warming flow In the end I had another, and knew it was all good.

call your ob/gyn office and tell them what happend. they can direct you whether or not to go to er. if i were you, i would already have gone to the doctor about it. anything concerning your baby, you never want to take any chances with its health.
