I have nothing against senior citizens (my is one but she's real fun). I have nothing in common with my boss and am not looking forward to anothe 2 hours of total silence.

Hahaha I didn't go in at all! I fear snow! My manager is Canadian so I thought he would laugh at me (or even yell) for refusing to go to work, but he was totally cool! Maybe he was born in a pile of snow!

The downside is that I have had a very boring day today. I have watched Phillip & Fern, cleaned the bathroom and been on Yahoo! Answers. And made some really good scrambled eggs.

Usual finish time for me - 4pm. It will be 6.30 pm (ish) by the time I get home as there are 2 sets of MAJOR roadworks that will only add to the chaos caused by the slippery road conditions.

No chance, I run my own business (single handed) so have to work until I drop. The pennies don't add up if I don't do a full days work, Boo Hoo!

at 3PM you are worried about being stuck with a senior citizen at 5PM ?

Perhaps you need to appreciate people for what they are rather than labelling ( and dismissing ) them just because of thier age.

What has age got to do with who you are in the office with.

Aren't you there to work ?

you go home if you're so worried, i'll look after the country for you.
