I would like to make a radio station, and I have an internal sound card. What do I NEED TO DO IN ORDER TO MAKE MY OWN RADIO STATION ON THE WEB? I do have an internatl sound card but no one has told me what I need to do next! Please help. thanks

the internal sound card is ok, remember the program comes out on the IP network connection and not as audio.

it would be easier to pre-record the audio as MP3 files which can be delivered on demand pod cast style.

one big difference between over-air programs and web or pod cast is the RIAA has royalties and playlist restrictions on music. you should consider being all talk format.

streaming places a high load on your computer resources, you should consider it a server and not use for any other functions when casting. you do have high speed IP connection right.

there are a number of sites that operate as IP audio servers, you might consider having them carry your programs.

well, you'll need a mic, if your gonna do any dj'ing, software to braodcast it, and some sort of address for people to go to link up with it.
