Well, I find a lot of our society think of senior citizens as boring, etc.
I work in a care and I am good friends with alot of elderly people, they are not boring they have lots of very interesting past times. One lady I am looking after really enjoys playing boules, which once you understand it, can be really quite enjoyable.
Lots of senior citizens get more and more interested in the newest health debates etc. Thsi too is very interesting.
I know plenty of elderly people who enjoy travelling, reading, playing games and chatting to other people.
If you really listen to senior citizens, they have a lot to say, and you can learn a great deal about the world.

Well, I'm 52, so I'm not quite officially a senior citizen yet, but I think senior citizens do the same things as anybody else. They hike, go boating, cook, do volunteer work, needlework, read, go bird-watching, watch TV, build things, go to concerts, do crafts, play golf, travel, go camping, play an instrument, go horseback riding... you name it, somebody (usually a LOT of "somebodys") who is a "senior citizen" does it. You don't lose your interest in things just because you reach a certain number of birthdays, after all!

It depends on their mobility largely.
- Square dancing and round dancing
- Docents and tour guides for nonprofits
- Work a part-time job
- Travel
- Gardening, woodworking, crafts and hobbies
- Table games such as bridge, poker, dominoes
- Play with their grandchildren
- Teaching
- Reading to children at the library
- Habitat for Humanity
- Try to find time to rest. They are busier than others because they are perceived as having "extra" time available.
- Work a full-time job if they are not retired
- Investments
