in fact i dont know how to call this because pop-ups come from a website when i surf to that specific website.
but here..i have not even gone to any website..neither have i open internet explorer..they just come up on my screen and its really annoying!
1 more fing:
There's a disturbing little noise when i connect my headset or speakers to the audio out of the cpu..any one has any idea how to get rid of this??

Download the google toolbar...it's got a pop-up blocker on it. I'm sure there are lots of others that do the same too.
If you get pop-ups without even opening your internet explorer, then you might have a little virus on your machine.

ur probably using ie. get rid of it and install opera.
also. ur system might be infected. so try to get rid of the viruses.
also get spybot 1.4 and spyware blaster.
configure opera,spybot and spyware blaster to block popups. plus they also enhance the security of the system.

go to tools on the top and put on pop up blocker... and stop looking at porn : )
