I have worked for a dealership, as well as a non-dealership shop, and the answer to your question is no.

If it is serviced by the authorized service agent, the type of services is updated in the agent's record and at the same time the agent also enter the date of 20,000 service into your car owner's manual.
The record is for the agent to inform you when you fail to turn up for the next 10,000 service.
There is nothing to do with the insurer or the bank!

It may not be sent to the Insurers, or Leasing company.. but if your car suffers damage to the point where the warranty needs to be involved then they do have the right to commission the vehicle's service records.

Very common in Extended Warranty situations.
