Be more vague? I mean, what love songs are you talking about specifically? And a love song is obviously being written about the person the writer loves no? That seems like something individual research could handle on its own. I've written a love song/poem to my girl friend. Yah, it's important to me and her, but I mean beyond the lyrics seems like something few people would care about. I'm sure some love songs include some crazy happenings, but honestly, that's where your own interpretation comes from. Also, I would think the stories of songs about broken love would be more interesting. Anyways... Listen and enjoy, relate to yourself or no, and if your so interested, research up on it for specific people or the songs you like if you so desire.

Absolutely the most searing love song every written is Layla, by Eric Clapton. It and the song BellBottom Blues document his love for his best friend Beatle George Harrison's wife, Patti. Later Patti left George and married Eric, but while Eric lived with them and they helped him beat heroin addiction he fell in love with Patti and found he couldn't live without her, even if it meant hurting his best friend. What a story, and all true! So, there's my vote. Have a great day!
