That is the point they all live in the top 1 percent, and then they think they know what is best for us, the best thing that could happen is for the jet to land ON Nancy Pelosi.

Nancy Pelosi could take the Space Shuttle back and forth from DC to San Francisco, but she does not have the right to ask, excuse me, no demand, that American Tax Payers pick up the tab. If she were reasonable and requested what her predecessor had used, I'd say fine, but she is acting as if she were crowned Queen. I heard yesterday that a trip on us for that plane to take her to SF and come back would run us about $300,000. a trip, do you want to pay that?
John Edwards is the most disingenuous individual I have ever seen, his "two Americas" speech is ridiculous.

No. Nancy Pelosi is in the line of succession to the presidency, so she needs to stay in touch. But the much smaller plane that Dennis Hastert used should be plenty.
If John Edwards can buy a big house, good for him. As long as he doesn't screw up the laws and take MY money away, so I can't aspire to the wealth he already has, or even a fraction of it. I honestly don't begrudge him his wealth, but I'll be darned if I'll let him turn around and criticize (and TAKE) mine without a fight.
Also, how much fossil fuel is used to heat that big house?

Pelosi is behaving exactly the way I expected her to behave. Aside from the fact that she wants her own Air Force One, you can bet that life isn't great for the aircrews on whatever plane she uses. You know that she despises the military, like most of her uber-liberal cohorts. It'll be more of that Hillary in the White House crap where staff are not allowed to make eye contact with her unless she deems it to be appropriate. Pelosi wants to be the penultimate limo liberal.
Edwards seems to be the archtypical ambulance chasing shyster. You can bet that he managed to take a third of any award to any of his clients, plus costs and fees. He's exactly what's wrong with the health care system. Pretending to be "a man of the people" while building a 25,000 square foot mansion for yourself seems to be hypocritical at best, and I'd like to know how much of his income he's willing to part with under the tax plans he and his cronies are coming up with. He's a prime example of why injury awards should be capped.

People like Nancy Pelosi and John Edwards are exempt from what they preach. They are rich, white elitist snobs and they are smarter than you so do as they say and not as they do. You NEED people like them to make decisions because you are too stupid to think for yourself.
Never mind that Nancy's jet belches more C02 into the atmosphere than your dinky little car, and don't question how many trees were destroyed to build Edwards' 28,000 ft. mansion. As long as you are living in your tiny abode with your lights turned off.
I hope you "get" my sarcasm. Thank you for asking this great question.

Very hypocritical.
Edwards cries about "two Americas," yet he lives in the wealthy America and lives a life of luxury. I don't care how he grew up. He found the money to go to law school and sued his way to wealth. His clients supposedly suffered injuries, yet he's the one living the life of a billionaire. Those people he "helped" still have to work. They can't even afford to live a modest lifestyle on the money he got for them.
And Nancy should really learn to practice what she preaches. The liberals are all about the environment and global warming, yet here she is asking for a huge jet to take her and a bunch of friends and family on a trip. Her friends and family need to fly commercial, and she needs a small jet at best. She really should fly commercially as well if she wants to put her money where here mouth is.

The jet that was used by the former speaker should be just fine for her.
And yes, Edwards is a hypocrit. They all are, but he is especially bad. During the Presidential campaign where he ran with Kerry he talked about the rising cost of health care and how the Government needs to find a way to fix it. His prior career was as a lawyer suing doctors. He should be well aware the burden that frivolous lawsuits are putting on the health care system, yet he led the fight against malpractice lawsuit reform.

Republicans are taking difficulty with the dimensions of the airplane. . The request for a higher airplane via the residing house Sargeant At palms grow to be depending on the shown reality that Ms. Pelosi represents the state of CA vs. IL, the position Hastert represents. there is an extremely good massive difference in words of distance between D.C. and IL vs. D.C and CA. the priority grow to be in refueling stops that ought to should be made. The Gulfstream airplane Hastert used ought to fly from D.C to IL and again with out having to make a refueling supply up. If Ms. Pelosi makes use of it, it should be ready to go back and forth one way non supply up in hardship-free words less than optimal wind situations and ought to hence decide on to refuel alongside the way it truly is a protection problem. Tony Snow, White residing house spokesman reported immediately that reported the negotiations over Pelosi's delivery were executed fullyyt via the residing house sergeant-at-palms and the Pentagon, with out direct involvement via the speaker or her place of work or the White residing house. It grow to be also to accomodate different contributors of the CA delegation who can ought to pay a fare to go back and forth on it, it would not be a loose journey. This also blanketed journeys again to confirm the individuals who positioned her in place of work not for own excitement. Mrs. Pelosi's request isn't new for a speaker, who's 2d-in-line in presidential succession. A protection source reported the speaker's usual get proper of entry to to a protection rigidity airplane began after the 9-11, 2001, attacks.

I don't have a problem with rich people, yet Edwards takes over 30% of his lawsuits of hospitals and doctors from the cases he wins..,30% is allot of money being taken away from someone who has permanent physical damage from a botched operation or permanent disfigurement..,yeah there is two Americas, his stealing from people with problems. He is a typical ambulance chaser.
Pelosi wants to preach about global warming and the environment yet she wants a bigger plane to burn more fuel and cost the taxpayers more money.Yeah, she sets the example of the reform she promised when she got her position.Liberals are the height of hypocrisy.
