No. First, there is no Soviet Union. Second, Russia has been a rogue agent in the world, creating instability and violating treaties. Their murdering of people in other countries, their threats against other countries, their proliferation of weapons, etc makes them a bad actor.
I like the Russian peoples, but the Russian government is criminal and corrupt.

NO! The Russian government is led by the same communist jerks who messed up Eastern Europe. Putin is an ex Head of East German KGB Leader. He is only putting on a show for the world. I'm sure that he is in league with Iran.

From ButterBar Bob: "Russia has been a rogue agent in the world, creating instability and violating treaties. Their murdering of people in other countries, their threats against other countries, their proliferation of weapons, etc makes them a bad actor."
Sound familiar? Just replace "Russia" with "U.S."
People in these countries get along. The governments are another story. The people of Russia are great just like 99% of people in the rest of the world. It's that 1% that needs to go.

No, I still don't trust Russia. I think they are working behind our backs to undermine everything we attempt to do. The fact that they were supplying Saddam with materials all the way up until a month before the war, and the fact that they will not condemn Iran for their nuclear ambitions just tells you that they are not trustworthy.

As long as former KGB agents are in control of Russia our friendship will be at an arms length. The only LOVE will be superficial.
